51-His hopes aren't the only thing being raised

[Voice Post]

Well, well, look who decided to surprise us! Quite a treat at the end of such a perilous week. You all are raising my hope for good things to come.

But of course, what could be better than such wonderful visitors?

[/Voice Post]

[OoC: So cute you could eat them up? Bad jokes aside, this is one hilarious thirty-second video. ANYTHING GOES, he's soon to be in a terrible mood anyway.]

...Oh. Oh, well, that's... that's very nice...

[Very. It's almost the only way he knows how to communicate.]

...S-super-geniusy? No! No... of... of course not! [A strained laugh.] Why would I be doing anything super-geniusy?

I... I can barely measure the right amount of laundry soap...

C'mon, Billy! You--well, technically I guess it was another you, but that doesn't matter--were all into figuring out how this City exists and how people get here and how all of the worlds are connected. I can't say I always understood what you were saying, but it sounded super-geniusy to me.

...Besides, your laundry always turned out just fine.

[...Right, deep breath. She said super genius, not evil genius.]

Oh, oh, yeah. I... that definitely sounds pretty interesting. Did... um... I? He...?

[Pronouns. He's a scientist, not a grammarian- but maybe a scientist is better when it's about grammar as it relates to apparent alternate universes?]

...Did the other me find out anything?

Not too much. Something about... fluctuating somethings, I don't know. This place does a good job of keeping anyone in it from finding too much out.

[Now this could cause some awkwardness.]

Sorry for being totally nosy, but what's... you know, what's happening back home? Where you're from?

I see... [Well, no, but he's genuinely fascinated, and he thinks he could see if he has time to work on it.

Oh, crap-]

Um... l-laundry, mostly. And frozen yogurt.

[She'll assume that this Billy hasn't gotten to the exploding-Death-Ray-dying-supervillain phase yet. Yes. Better safe than breaking a Billy's brain.]

Oh! That's... that sounds nice. Crazy how frozen yogurt always accidentally comes in twos, isn't it? I kept having that problem, too.

[And she assumes correctly.]

Yeah... [He sighs. Maybe a little dreamily? He's... hesitantly hopeful as he continues.]

But... it was... I don't know, I'd say it wasn't... such a bad thing. [Pause.] Extra frozen yogurt is never a bad thing!

(OOC: Sorry, probably should have mentioned this before. Like, way earlier... orz. His canon point is after his first time having frozen yogurt with Penny, but before attacking the Superhero Memorial Bridge.)
