18-Convenient lapses in memory

How strange it is that everyone seems to keep telling me that I was acting odd over the weekend. Surely it was a curse, and yet I can barely remember any of it. I do recall making a promise to Penny concerning baking something, but I apologize, I must take that back. I don't actually do anything of the sort.

Ah, Penny, how I wish- But no. I must be strong, as hard as it is. For her sake!

It's getting to be quite chilly around now, I shouldn't be surprised if it started to snow soon. Ah, how romantic that would be, a white Christmas . . . Ah, Christmas, the season of joy and brotherly love and odd-tasting puddings. I only hope the City reflects this joyous time.

[OoC: I will be backdating that last post, don't worry, I'm just caught up in papers and projects. Also, strike is pathetically hackable- on purpose, at that.]

It's not that hard to figure out. If you want to learn. But some people just don't like cooking.

It would be nice. It was snowing back home when I left. Montana, I'm not from there originally but it's my home now.

How'd I miss this comment?

Yes, I think that's probably me; not a fan of cooking.

Montana, eh? Good solid state. Where are you originally from?

Oh, but my mistake, I've forgotten to introduce myself. I am Captain Hammer.

the magic that is lj eating comments?

A lot of men aren't.

I grew up in Wisconsin. But before I moved to Montana I was living in Illinois. What about you?

That's a...unique name. I'm Anna.

Yeah. It's so silly for it to do, I mean, they're not even delicious.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, I see. That's quite a journey. I was born and raised in Los Angeles.

Anna! How lovely to meet you.

have you tried one? Maybe they're yummy!

[identity profile] rogueintent.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
I've moved around a bit. But I'm settled now, except for the trips I have to make sometimes.

Did you like Los Angeles?

It's nice to meet you too.

Well, yeah, maybe with some garlic and a little more salt. They're pretty bland.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, well that sounds nice.

Greatest city in the U.S. of A. Because I'm there.

are they? We should write to lj to make them more tasty

[identity profile] rogueintent.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
It is. Aspen Creek is really beautiful. Great woods to hunt in.

Sounds like you really like it there.

No! Then LJ will just will just eat them more!

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps I shall visit some time, then.

I do. It is my alma mater, as they say.

true! my plans should never be listened to

[identity profile] rogueintent.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I doubt your world would have the same community at Aspen Creek as we do. But you could still visit the mountains there. They're nice.

You've always lived there?

Good thing I didn't listen. I read. :B /awful dork

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2009-12-27 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Still, I shall keep it in mind.

I have. My parents moved there at some point in their life when they married.

[identity profile] rogueintent.livejournal.com 2009-12-28 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
It has wonderful snow.

Do they still live there?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2009-12-29 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, yes. Something we're not quite accustomed to in LA.

Yes, they do. Still in their original house, too.
