Unidentifiable foes, although there is a suspiciously familiar lab coat and goggles adorning one of them, lie at his feet, defeated, perhaps unconscious, perhaps without a pulse any longer.
But he is in a lovely stereotypical flower-filled field, surrounded by women at his arms, and lots of celebration going on and a parade, for him, in the background. You can tell it's for him because of his face being plastered everywhere.

"I've not had the pleasure of defeating him, myself, but I've gone against many of the members of his league." Although, if you started looking in pockets, you might see something similar to this (http://notsohorrible.livejournal.com/2027.html) in one of them. Alice laughed, "You don't really seem like a salad man. I would've thought some sort of red meat would be more up your ally." Alice can't tell whether she's flirting or not, she's just glad to be having a normal conversation about almost normal things. The fact that the only place she's had a "normal" conversation is in a dream is one she chooses not to think about.
