amansgottadowhat: (Guess what these are not)

26- Goy Vey

I have known many a Jew back home over the course of my life. From what I gather of this holiday that they have, what's upcoming is not pretty. There is much talk about these sheep roaming around and what needs to be done in order to protect oneself.

I, of course, would not be participating, as I don't believe in any of this, but as a hero, if any of you so desire to be shielded by the so-called protection of the blood, I will do it, and allow you to hold lodging in my apartment. Just say the word, and it shall be done.

[OoC: For the love of god, someone please stop him from literally tearing open a sheep. He is seriously freaking out on the inside.]

Passover is also relevant to Christians. Not a full out holiday, but hey.

N-No! Don't hurt them!

[identity profile] horrible-penny.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Leave the sheep alone. I will come over there and save the poor thing.

The garden's supposed to be safe, Hammer. Maybe you could try to get people to go there?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, yes, well, of course. But it's the Jews that have helped me find the true meaning of Passover. Those didn't stay until the morning because they couldn't eat bread or something.

[OoC: Is it? I mean, aside from a brief retelling somewhere.]

[kdjhfdsklj INNER FREAK OUT!]

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
That is indeed what I intend to do, madam.

Do, that is.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
And you are? You do not seem like any of the other deities I have seen around.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
Am I to believe you take some form of pleasure from sheep in some manner?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
[SO. MUCH. HATRED. HATE. HATE!] May I help you, madam?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't for myself, but for the citizens that need it is another story.

Do you suggest another way to ease their discomfort?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't have any specific one in mind, really-

Is it? Where did you hear this from?

[identity profile] hidesinrestroom.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
No, I find you amusing.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Wonderful. Dare I ask why?

[identity profile] hidesinrestroom.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Being such a hero.

[identity profile] hushed-observer.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
But the sheep!..they're so innocent.

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes, alright.

[identity profile] hidesinrestroom.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
But what if no one requests your assistance? You're still not going to mark your doorway?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
As are so many of the helpless citizens. What would you have me do about them?

[identity profile] horrible-protag.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
[pondering over this quite a bit before] Well, I've already gotten one or two that need this sort of protection, despite their reluctance at the idea.

[identity profile] hidesinrestroom.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
I see...

If you decide not to help them, you can stay at my place. I've already marked my door.

[identity profile] horrible-penny.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Doesn't matter! Just leave them alone, please?

The network? The curses aren't making anything happen in the garden so a bunch of people're staying there. I don't know if it's really as safe as it seems, but it's better than killing sheep.

[identity profile] disregard-death.livejournal.com 2010-04-03 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
OI! ye dun need ta kill nothing, Laddie. Just a nick or somethin. And knowin tha city, I wouldn't think much of it caring how you do yer kneelin.

[identity profile] hushed-observer.livejournal.com 2010-04-03 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
I'm...I'm not sure..

is there no other way to protect them? No safe place to go to in the City?

late, sorry! busy weekend/week. :(

[identity profile] kirinofen.livejournal.com 2010-04-08 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Still! They can go to Xanadu instead! The plagues haven't touched it so it's safe. So don't hurt them.
