amansgottadowhat: (There's plenty of me to go around)

Unidentifiable foes, although there is a suspiciously familiar lab coat and goggles adorning one of them, lie at his feet, defeated, perhaps unconscious, perhaps without a pulse any longer.

But he is in a lovely stereotypical flower-filled field, surrounded by women at his arms, and lots of celebration going on and a parade, for him, in the background. You can tell it's for him because of his face being plastered everywhere.

[OoC: Sorry for late! Do whatever, say whatever, whoever is welcome.]

He was still somewhat, he supposed the word would be giddy, at the fact that it was actually Supergirl! Growing up he'd always respected and idolized the Supers in whatever medium they were written into. Plus, she was hot.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that too much. I'm pretty sure they're not actually dead. They were always alive when I woke up after this back home."

"Well, I'm glad you leave them alive back home," Kara said, frowning a bit and giving a small shrug. Was she really one to tell people what they could and couldn't do in their dreams?

"So you even dream of being a hero, huh? That's pretty hard core of you."

"Of course." Not from lack of trying. How he'd have loved to end Doctor Horrible's persistent existence. But that was to be debated over another day.

And not in a dream. "Heroism runs through my blood, so it's only natural it run through my brain as well." Wait. "You know, when I dream. It runs through my brain when I'm not sleeping, too, because I'm thinking about it and being one."

Kara made a mental note that while Captain Hammer was cute, there might not have been a whole lot going on upstairs. Well, at least he was trying to do the right thing.

"Well, that doesn't seem to be all you think about," she smirked, gesturing to all the women.

"Oh, they're just some of my fans who are congratulating me on keeping the city safe. I only hope that I can do the same for the City here." Of course, obviously not in the same way. Death didn't matter, they just came back to life, but he could possibly still manage to keep the level of crime down, somehow. "But that's definitely not all I think about, true enough. Such as right now, I'm thinking about you."

Kara avoided the urge to roll her eye and instead gave him a bit of a smile. It was the guys dream, she could indulge him a little bit, right?

"And just what are you thinking about me?" she asked, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.

Now don't be too crass here, keep it light and un-imposing. "Well, how nice this field highlights your hair color for one. And that it's very nice when you smile." Nice set up, go in for something subtle. "I'd like to get that to happen more."

Kara gave a small laugh at that. Okay, it was a little corny but it wasn't half bad. It would have been even better if he wasn't surrounded by a group of girls.

"That wasn't half bad, Captain Hammer," she said, rewarding him with a smile.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." The girls were probably not going anywhere, but they were in the background now, at least. "How'd you like to take a walk, then?"

"I did. Just so you know that's about as far into corny line territory as I will enjoy," she told him. She noticed that the girls had back off a bit and when he asked her for a walk, she paused to think.

"Sure, why not," she said. "After all, I'll be perfectly safe with a big, strong, superhero like you around, right?"

He laughed. "I shall make note of that." He was very glad she said yes, at least. Then he could really impress her. "I will ensure it." He held out his arm; cliche? Perhaps, but girls did tend to like that from what he'd found. "Shall we?"

Alright, so maybe he could be a gentleman if he wanted to be one. And he was sorta cute. Smiling, she took his arm.

"I guess she shall," she said with a nod. "So where are you taking me?"

"Well, perhaps if you make a suggestion as to where you would like to go, I can form this place to your wishes." That is, assuming he'd gotten this dream business to his understanding.

Kara thought about asking him to take her to Krypton, but since he'd never been there she doubted he'd be able to. So she went for the next best thing.

"Disneyland!" she said. "Take me to Disneyland! Only with not many people there, so we don't have to wait in long lines and stuff."

"Disneyl- Alright. Well, let's see if I can get this to work properly for you." Disneyland. She sounded like a child when she had said that, it was rather cute of her, if he thought so- which he did.

Rides, foodstands, and more rides. With each one that he concentrated on, it would appear. And best of all "No one but us in here now."

"This is awesome!" Kara exclaimed, reaching out to give him a quick hug. "I have to say, you have this dream thing down pretty good. Which ride do you want to go on first?"

He grinned widely at this. "It is no trouble to me, Kara, but rather my pleasure. I'll go on whichever ride you'd like."

"Hmmmmm..."

Kara tapped her lip thoughtfully. Disneyland was sort of a different experience when you could fly and such, but that didn't mean it still wasn't fun.

"Space Mountain!" she finally decided.

"Space Mountain it is, then." It was rather close to where they were standing currently, and when they reached the ride he opened the entrance way gate for her. He was about to say 'ladies first', but he remembered what she had said about corniness, and decided against it. Besides, silently opening the door was often as highly looked upon as accompanying the gesture with saying something.

Kara smiled at him as he opened the door for her and grabbed his arm again as she walked past, dragging him after her.

"Space Mountain with no line is going to be awesome," she said. "Actual space is kinda boring unless there's like a fight going on. Just a lot of emptiness."

"Ah? I've not had the pleasure of going into space." Right, she was a super. He'd have to tell her one day that he'd read about her when he was younger. Assuming it wasn't just a complete coincidence. You know. Probably.
